After all the good news about the much faster growth of its advertising business and some truly significant international brand partnerships, twitter has the right to feel optimistic about its future. Rather than writing long press releases, the company lets a freshly updated logo speak for the state of the company. As twitter points out in a short blurb, the bird will now be the only symbol for its brand.
Bird = Twitter. Twitter = Bird. No more text needed.
